Ingredients
- 6-8 boneless chicken thighs, together with skin * or skinless
- Sea pepper and salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes discretionary or to taste
- 1/2 little onion chopped
- 4 cloves minced or chopped
- 2-4 tsp Italian seasoning
- If desired, chopped lemon slices and fresh parsley for garnish

Directions
- Season the chicken with paprika, pepper, garlic powder, salt, and chili flakes.
- To cook at the Immediate Pot:
- Place chicken and cook on both sides for 2-3 minutes, or till golden brown. Keep it more tender and this will help to seal in the juices. (you might need to work in batches based on the size and volume of chicken you're using). Remove from Immediate Pot once browned and place aside.
- Melt butter and stir into garlic and the onions. Add lemon juice and cook for 1 minute. Add chicken broth, lemon zest, and seasoning.
- Set the chicken back lock the lid, and then turn the valve.
- Pick the Manual (old versions ) or Stress Cook (newer versions ) button and then correct the timer to 7 minutes.
- It takes approximately 5-10 minutes to come back to stress and begin counting down.
- Once completed, release the strain then remove your Immediate Pot lid.
- Remove from Immediate Pot and put aside to a large plate. Press off and flip function to be SAUTED by Immediate Pot. Cook and permit to simmer and bubble. Switch off and insert chicken back into the Immediate Pot. Serve with your favorite sides if desired, and garnish with lemon slices.
- At a skillet medium-high heat include olive and cook or until chicken reaches 165 degrees. Transfer browned chicken and set aside.
- Pour pan back to warm and melt butter. Stir in garlic and onion. Add lemon juice. Add chicken broth, lemon zest, and seasoning.
- When the sauce thickened and has bubbled add the chicken back in the pan. Spoon sauce over chicken and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with your favorite sides if desired, and garnish with lemon slices.
Recipe Notes
- For poultry breasts: use 3 breasts, sliced in half.
- I utilize 1/3 cup of broth out of the lemon into my 6 Quart Instant Pot DUO with burning indication or no troubles - if desired if this mix doesn't work on the Immediate Pot version, you can increase the Quantity of liquid
